The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors delayed considering a pay bump for board members at its meeting Tuesday, rescheduling the discussion for January.
Supervisor Justin Cummings has been leading an effort to give the board more leeway in setting its salaries, which are currently linked to the pay rate of Superior Court judges.
