The sale, held March 6 and 7 at the San Rafael Public Library is a favorite among book aficionados, artists, creators of altered books, designers and enthusiasts of vintage literature. Friends Books showcases a varied selection of titles, including western history, poetry, vintage cookbooks, large-format art books, fiction, science, classic sets, paper ephemera, classical music CDs and more.

Each month, we highlight the latest book releases from Bay Area and Northern California authors, while editor Leslie Katz curates a diverse lineup of readings and literary events at local bookstores and libraries.
