Family and friends of a woman whose body was recovered last weekend from a tragic boat sinking in the San Francisco Bay earlier this month have organized a fundraising campaign for her daughter, who has been handling her mother’s affairs and will have to pay for her funeral expenses.

Carol Boisa, 74, was found Saturday morning near Point Diablo on the Marin County side of the Golden Gate channel, according to San Francisco police.
