San Francisco police recovered a body in the Bay near Treasure Island on Thursday that could be linked to the capsizing of a boat earlier this week.

At 1:02 p.m., police received an alert from a passing vessel about a body in the water west of Treasure Island, according to an SFPD news release. A police marine unit recovered the body and pronounced the person dead at the scene.
