The inaugural Mill Valley Music Festival is gearing up to bring diverse live music and family entertainment to the city this Saturday at the city’s Friends Field. Grammy-winning folk and blues singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harper will headline the event with his band, The Innocent Criminals.
The festival will be a day-long spectacle, featuring two stages for the musical acts, roller-skating, lawn games, an arcade, a live painter and a drag queen “advice desk,” as well as food and drink options and a dedicated “kids’ zone.”

Alongside Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, the full musical lineup includes Boston-bred funk band Lettuce; Nashville-based singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Liz Cooper; Venezuelan disco, acid jazz and funk band Los Amigos Invisibles; and San Francisco’s very own La Doña, whose music explores radical brown femininity.
The tickets to the event have sold out, but you can sign up for official resale tickets and learn more about the event at https://www.millvalleymusicfest.com.
