Sonoma County voters will have the opportunity to learn more about accessible voting and language assistance in two upcoming workshops, according to the county Registrar of Voters Office.
The first workshop, set for Wednesday, Oct. 1, will focus on how voters with disabilities can use accessible ballot marking devices at local Vote Centers. It will take place in person from 11 a.m. to noon at the Registrar of Voters Office, 435 Fiscal Drive in Santa Rosa.
The second workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, will be held online via Zoom from 6-7 p.m. It will focus on resources for voters whose primary language is not English, including how to obtain facsimile ballots in Khmer, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.
Both workshops are open to the public ahead of the Nov. 4 special election.
