Miley poised to retain Alameda supes seat; Bas, Bauters heading for November runoff

Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley appeared poised to retain his District 4 seat while Nikki Fortunato Bas and John Bauters are heading for a runoff election for the District 5 seat based on the early vote tally Tuesday night.

Jennifer Esteen is running to unseat long-time Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley to represent District 4, which includes portions of the City of Oakland and the City of Pleasanton, as well as Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, El Portal Ridge, Fairmont Terrace, Fairview and Hill Crest Knolls,, Calif. Miley was leading his sole opponent Jennifer Esteen by 7,502 votes to 4,345 votes with all precincts reporting.
