The Stockton State of the City address is set to take place April 18 when residents will hear from the mayor about the progress made throughout the city as well as future plans.
The event, which will also include an update on the Port of Stockton, will take place in Shed 20 at the Port located at 2201 W. Washington St. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m., lunch catered by Papapavlo’s Bistro & Bar will be served at noon and the State of the City by Mayor Kevin Lincoln will begin after.
Guest speakers will include Lincoln, William Trezza, who is the chair for the Port of Stockton Board of Commissioners, and Scott Grafius, who is the president of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce.
Last year, roughly 800 community members and leaders attended the event and seven “Key to the City” plaques were given out by the mayor.
Tickets for the event will be $50 and are pre-paid reservations only but sponsorships are available.

Anyone who cannot attend the event will have the opportunity to watch live from the Stockton Chamber website and social media.
