Tabard Theatre, the San Jose company that has produced live theater for most of the last 20 years, has lost its lease in San Pedro Square.
A fundraiser at 4 p.m. Sunday — The Fountain Blues “Blues in the Boardroom” — continue as scheduled, with performances by Pearl Alley Band, Bob Gonzalez Band and guest appearances by Dan Orloff and Jay Meduri, the company said in a statement Friday.
Some shows have been canceled, including Piano Bar Cabaret on Sunday, Full Throttle Speed Dating on Wednesday and A Child’s Christmas In Wales, Dec. 22-24.
Recurring events such as Monday Off Mic and Thursday Karaoke are also on hiatus.
The nonprofit arts organization is working to find new venues to go forward with other shows as soon as they are confirmed.
Shows that can’t be re-homed or re-scheduled will be canceled and ticket holders will be given options to switch to another show, donate their ticket, or receive a refund, according to the company.
