Monterey County’s Department of Social Services will close its Seaside Community Benefits Office to the public at the end of October, county officials said this week.
The office at 1281 Broadway Ave. will provide urgent and limited in-person services from Oct. 26 through Oct. 30. After that, beginning Nov. 2, customers will be able to receive limited in-person services and drop off documents at the county’s Coastal Office at 2620 First Ave. in Marina.
