Cal Fire plans to conduct a 4.1-acre prescribed burn Thursday morning at the Jenner Headlands Preserve in Sonoma County.
Cal Fire said the planned burn, which will begin around 9 a.m., will treat mixed forest understory vegetation on a ridgeline north of the Russian River near Duncan Mills and the Sonoma County coast. The burn aims to reduce hazardous vegetation, among other things.
