A 34-foot La Catrina sculpture is set to arrive Tuesday in Oakland’s Fruitvale district, where it will be installed ahead of the Unity Council’s 31st annual Día de los Muertos celebration.
A trailer truck carrying the sculpture is expected to arrive at 8 a.m. at Fruitvale Transit Village, 3411 E. 12th St. Installation will begin after the sculpture arrives.
