Nicholas Gracia, a 25-year veteran, has been named the fire chief of Daly City and of the North County Fire Authority protecting Brisbane, Daly City and Pacifica.
Gracia’s selection was announced Thursday by Thomas Piccolotti, city manager of Daly City, which managed a nationwide search.
