Marin County fire engineer paramedic John Buscovich is training to run the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon to raise money for families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty as a first responder.
This year, the marathon will take place on Nov. 1, starting in Staten Island with the finish line 26.2 miles away in Central Park. The runners will cross all five boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan.
