More vineyard owners in Napa County are seeking to join a lawsuit against the county over what they call a “patchwork” of regulations that obstruct growth for small-scale wineries, in some cases leading to heavy fines. 

Lindsay Hoopes, owner of Hoopes Vineyard, is a lead plaintiff and filed the suit in 2024 following a series of fines for alleged code violations levied by the county.
