A Castroville man who intentionally drove recklessly was sentenced on Wednesday to 11 years, eight months in state prison for the crash that killed his 16-year-old son and injured his two other sons in April, the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office said.
Edgar Banuelos, 37, pleaded no contest to gross vehicular manslaughter and felony child abuse, along with causing great bodily injury and intentionally driving recklessly and crashing with his three sons as passengers, prosecutors said.
