Monterey County’s Government Center in Salinas will remain closed through the end of this week because of a sewer line malfunction that is requiring extensive cleanup and remediation work, county officials said Tuesday.
The county last Thursday initially said the center at 168 W. Alisal St. would be closed through early this week because of the sewer problem that was primarily affecting the building’s first floor.
