Containment of Plaskett Fire, state’s largest, rises to 23%

Fire crews battling California’s biggest wildfire have increased containment of the Plaskett Fire in Monterey County to 23%, officials said Friday.

The Big Sur blaze stood at 29,768 acres, up slightly from 29,476 on Thursday, when containment was 19%.
