Monterey County’s Government Center in Salinas is dealing with a problem that is hard to make up: a major sewer line malfunction has forced the building to close to the public until early next week.
The Government Center at 168 W. Alisal St. in Salinas will remain closed through Tuesday after the sewer problem primarily affected the first floor, where many customer-facing departments are located.
