The team behind a proposed billionaire-backed city in Solano County called California Forever has closed on vacant properties on a strip of Main Street in downtown Suisun City, city officials announced Tuesday.
The sale by the city of properties to CF Suisun 1 and CF Suisun 2, companies formed by Jan Sramek, CEO of California Forever, includes buildings at 701-713 Main St. and two parking lots. The lots will be leased to the city for $1 each year so residents can continue parking while development plans are completed, according to a statement from the city.
