A fishing boat grounded at Point Reyes National Seashore was salvaged this week and its fuel was extracted safely, the U.S. Coast Guard said Friday.

The vessel, named Lake Bay, was removed from an active surf zone on North Beach at Point Reyes on Wednesday, the Coast Guard said.
