Good news for animal lovers. San Francisco animal shelters will waive adoption fees this weekend as part of a nationwide effort to help more shelter pets find homes.
The San Francisco SPCA will host its one-day adoption event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at its Adoption Center at 250 Florida St. The event is part of Clear the Shelters, a nationwide campaign aimed at finding homes for shelter animals.
