San Francisco Public Works began a 14-month partial closure of the Broadway Tunnel on Monday as part of the Chinatown Public Health Center renovation project.
One lane will remain open in each direction through the tunnel, with motorists warned to expect delays during peak travel times. The work is scheduled to continue through October 2027.
