Alameda County students in grades 6 through 12 can apply for free bus rides and discounted BART fares through the county’s Student Transit Pass Program, now in its 11th year.
The Alameda County Transportation Commission, along with AC Transit, Wheels and Union City Transit, offers eligible students unlimited free rides on participating Alameda County buses and 50% off BART fares, the county said.
