IT’S STILL TICKING, the watch Richard Yamashiro fixed for my grandfather in the early 1970s.
When Richard placed the repaired CYMA timepiece in a pickup packet for Nick Reckas, he couldn’t have known it would take over 50 years to find its way home. Or that it would bring the past alive when it finally arrived in the future, long after both men had passed away.
