Family and friends of people killed in murders gathered Friday in San Francisco’s NoPa neighborhood to remember their loved ones at the site where a 17-year-old was shot to death exactly 20 years earlier.
Paulette Brown, whose son Aubrey Abrakasa Jr. died in 2006, organized the event at Grove and Baker streets in the district, whose name stands for North of the Panhandle, to raise awareness about San Francisco murders.
