Evacuation orders have been issued for two zones in the Big Sur area of Monterey County due to the Timber Fire, the Sheriff’s Office said Sunday night.

Immediate evacuation orders have been issued for residents in zones MRY-F026 and MRY-F027, which are in the area of Partington Ridge Road and North Coast Ridge Road. These orders also include the Alila Ventana Big Sur resort.
