One lane on westbound Interstate 80 on the Carquinez Bridge will be closed to traffic from 6 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday for construction on the bridge deck.
Caltrans said in a statement that the construction is part of the agency’s ongoing Bridge Deck Rehabilitation Project. A full closure of the westbound Carquinez Bridge is planned for Aug. 21-24.
