THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE has released body-cam video of an incident in which a woman was shot by a deputy during a traffic stop in Stockton after it appears she is reaching for a pistol in her lap.
There was indeed a gun — but it turned out to be an air-powered replica that closely resembled the real thing.
