The Santa Clara County Mosquito and Vector Control District will start treating mosquito breeding areas in parts of Santa Clara and San Jose on Tuesday night after mosquitoes infected with West Nile virus were detected.

The treatment, starting at 10 p.m., will target areas within ZIP codes 95050, 95051, 95117, 95126 and 95128, the district said.
