Berkeley Public Health begins back-to-school vaccine clinics Tuesday

Berkeley Public Health is launching a series of back-to-school vaccination clinics on Tuesday to help families prepare for the new school year.

The vaccination clinics will be held 9 a.m. at the West Berkeley Family Wellness Center, 1900 Sixth St. in Berkeley, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with more scheduled for Aug. 11 to 13.

Health officials encourage families to take advantage of the clinics to ensure children are up to date on their recommended vaccinations before classes begin.
