Drivers using Highway 9 in Santa Cruz County should expect delays this week as multiple construction projects get underway.
Starting Monday, travelers will encounter daytime and overnight one-way reversing traffic control at multiple locations along Highway 9. The traffic controls are expected to remain in place through Friday.
The work will allow crews to continue the San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek bridge replacement projects, pedestrian safety improvements in Felton, and upper drainage and erosion control improvements, according to Caltrans.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and use caution while driving through construction zones.
