A good Samaritan resuscitated a teenager who appeared to have drowned at San Gregorio State Beach in San Mateo County on Sunday, according to Cal Fire.

First responders were called to the beach south of Half Moon Bay on a report of an 18-year-old found unconscious in the lagoon area, Cal Fire said. Authorities believe the person had been submerged in the water for at least two minutes and was found unresponsive and not breathing.
