The National Weather Service is forecasting high temperatures for the latter half of this week that could combine with offshore wind events to create elevated fire risk through the weekend.
The Weather Service also issued a heat advisory for Monday due to highs ranging from 95 to 105 degrees for the Santa Clara Valley, eastern Santa Clara Hills, the East Bay hills and valleys, and the North Bay interior mountains. The advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. Monday.
