A Pleasant Hill man was arrested in connection with a stabbing on San Francisco’s Mission Street based on evidence found by surveillance cameras and a drone, police said Friday.
Lamedh Porter, 36, was taken into custody July 25 and accused of aggravated assault and resisting arrest, police said.
The stabbing occurred around 4 p.m. in the 1100 block of Mission Street, police said. The suspect, wearing a multicolored windbreaker, fled on foot and eventually onto Minna Street.
Surveillance footage showed the suspect crouch between two parked vehicles where he changed his clothing and threw a black bag onto the roof of a nearby building.
A drone located a black bag on a rooftop that contained a bloody knife, and video located the discarded jacket and hat that the suspect was allegedly wearing during the stabbing, police said.
