Stockton campaign consultant calls bus stop stabbing random, not politically motivated

A STOCKTON POLITICAL CONSULTANT currently working on campaigns for two candidates running for Stockton City Council suffered a punctured lung after he was stabbed multiple times while waiting for a bus in downtown Stockton last Thursday.

In the days following the stabbing, city officials and two City Council campaigns had publicly discussed the attack without identifying the victim by name, describing him only as a local campaign consultant. Stockton police would only say the victim was a 54-year-old man.
