Caltrans has released a new Bay Area Transit Needs Assessment to help guide investments in transit-supportive infrastructure across the region’s state highway network.
The assessment, released by Caltrans District 4, identifies locations where improvements such as bus-only lanes, safer crosswalks, and enhanced bicycle and pedestrian facilities could improve transit access and reliability.
