The Union City City Council has voted unanimously to place a measure on the November ballot that would extend the city’s existing tax on the use of utilities.
The Utility Users Tax is a 5% tax on electricity, natural gas, telecommunications, and video services that was instituted after voters approved Measure WW in the November 2020 election.
