A baby pig named Peter Porker is up for adoption at the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA in Burlingame.

Pigs are rare to see at animal shelters, said PHS/SPCA spokesperson Colleen Crowley. But the organization’s status as an open-admission shelter means they do not turn away any animals. Porker is one of the 14 available exotic and farm animals available.
