Pacific Grove City Manager Matt Mogensen will leave next month to become city manager of neighboring Marina, Pacific Grove officials have announced.
Mogensen, who has served as city manager since 2024, is expected to leave Aug. 21 to begin his new role in Marina, Pacific Grove officials said in a statement Wednesday.
