San Francisco Animal Care and Control has a big problem that came in many small packages — too many guinea pigs and rabbits.

More than 30 of the critters are available on animal control’s website. To encourage adoptions, it is offering free starter kits including large cages, water bottles, dishes, food, treats and toys. The kits will be given to adopters through July, as long as supplies last.
