The city of Richmond will be inviting the public to the reopening of Shields-Reid Park on Saturday after community input reimagined the space.
Shields-Reid Park was awarded an $8 million grant through the state initiative “Outdoors for All,” the largest investment to date in parks and recreation in the state for underserved communities, according to the city of Richmond.
