A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Texas Tuesday for allegedly killing 18-year-old Jamario Baker shortly after his graduation from Sem Yeto High School in Fairfield last month, Fairfield police announced Friday.
The suspect, who police say fled Fairfield for Texas within days of the shooting, was arrested on suspicion of murder and related offenses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area Tuesday morning with the help of the United States Marshals Service. He will remain in custody in Texas pending his extradition to Solano County.
