Former Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty died Sunday at the age of 68 after succumbing to a health condition, his family announced on social media.
A longtime public servant, Haggerty served six four-year terms as District 1 supervisor, representing Dublin, Livermore, Fremont and unincorporated East County.
