Pride Month 2026 in the Bay Area has wrapped up, but the memories made by millions of people remain. Over the course of 30 days, events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community sprung up across the region as part of a collective effort to show support for people who have faced discrimination on the basis of who they love.


San Francisco

Rainbow flags blew across San Francisco during the city’s typical breezy summer days. The city, synonymous with the tech industry and cable cars, is also famous for its sizeable LGBTQ+ community and annual Pride Parade and celebrations. Within City Hall, hundreds of couples tied the knot in organized wedding ceremonies.
