A $4 million federal grant aimed at transforming former industrial areas into community spaces will help complete a 10-acre waterfront park in southeast San Francisco.
Funds from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will go toward cleanup and conservation efforts for the India Basin Waterfront Park in the 900 block of Innes Ave. near Hunters Point, the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department said Thursday.
