Monterey County Supervisor Glenn Church appears to have defended his seat representing District 2 on the county Board of Supervisors, according to unofficial results Tuesday that showed him with a large lead over challenger Ramon Gomez.
With 96% of voting precincts reporting results, Church led with over 70% of the votes cast. He recorded 5,609 votes compared to Gomez’s 2,296.
