With California’s June 2 statewide primary election just a week away, election officials are reminding voters to know their rights and to make a plan to vote.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 2. Voters who are still in line when the polls close have the right to vote, so they shouldn’t leave just because it’s 8 p.m., California Secretary of State Shirley Weber said.
