A free community celebration will be held this month in Petaluma to highlight the environmentally friendly measures over a dozen local businesses in the city have taken to achieve one of California’s highest green certifications.
California Green Business Certifications were awarded to 16 businesses in Petaluma for meeting standards around energy and water use, waste and pollution, and purchasing methods, according to a statement from the Sonoma County Executive’s Office.
