Two eastbound lanes of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, which carries Interstate Highway 580, will be closed nightly for almost two months, Caltrans said Friday.

The two far-left lanes taking traffic east will be shut between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. beginning Monday through June 30, to repair the Scofield Avenue undercrossing in Richmond, Caltrans said.

Permanent repairs to the Scofield Avenue undercrossing, which carries traffic over a Chevron refinery, are scheduled to be completed by July.
